David Michael Markoe, Sr. “Skipper” Age 85 of White Bear Lake Passed away peacefully on October 29, 2016. Preceded in death by parents, Francis and Ruth; great-grandson, Darion; and brothers, Francis, James, Peter, and Stephen. Survived by loving wife of 63 years, Mary; children, David Jr. (Judy), Stephanie Askin, Elizabeth, Peter, and Sara (Jeff) Hanson; grandchildren, Abram, Elizabeth, Nathaniel, John, Andrew, Rachel, Brent, Timothy, William, Emily, and Isabelle; great-grandchildren, Anthony, Ava, Mary, Jack, Lyndal, Addison, Alexander, Norah, and Sophie; brothers, Richard and John (Shirley); and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Visitation 4-8 PM on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Mueller Memorial, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to Mass on Friday, November 4 at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 4741 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake. Interment Calvary Cemetery, St. Paul. Memorials preferred to the White Bear Lake Area Historical Society.
