Darlene âDarâ Marie Chivers (Johnson)
Age 71 of White Bear Lake
Formerly of St. Paul
Dear Mother, Grandma and Friend
Dar was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on December 26, 1944 to Mary (Kappel) and Clifford Johnson. She attended and graduated from Our Lady of Peace School. She worked for nearly 30 years in customer service during her career. When she was not working, Dar loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She was very crafty and would spend her free time sewing or putting together puzzles. During football season, she would never miss watching the Minnesota Vikings games. Her most favorite thing to do was to go to the casino and try her luck on the slot machines. Her social, outgoing, funny and witty personality will be missed by all who knew her.
Dar passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully on the morning of March 4, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Clifford Johnson; and her aunts, Marge Hopkins and Bobbie Marudas. She will be dearly missed by her children, Amy (Jim) Feesl of St. Paul, Richard (Jessica) Chivers of White Bear Lake, and Roseann (Joe) Hansen of Lexington; her seven grandchildren, Kirsten, Andru, Cory, Brandon, Dylan, Corbin, and Riley; her aunt, Georgia Johnson of Grand Forks, North Dakota; former husband, Russell Chivers; and her former sister-in-law, Arlene Chivers.
