Age 68 of White Bear Lake Survived by his wife, Margaret “Midge”; children: Mary (Alex) Taddia of Portland, ME; Bridget (Merritt) of Mpls; Ellen (Evan) Ishmael of Mpls; Kathleen (Ryan) of Mpls; Patrick (Liz) of St. Paul; step-children: Melissa Schmidt of Stillwater; David (Gayle) Schmidt of Hammond, WI; Rob Schmidt of Somerset, WI; grandchildren, Travis Schmidt and six other grandchildren; siblings, Patrick Sather of International Falls; David (Vonna) Sather & Kevin (LeAnn) Sather both of Little Fork, MN & Sharon Schroepner of Apple Valley. Visitation from 4-7 PM TUESDAY at MUELLER LAKE MORTUARY, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave. @ 3rd St., WBL and 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Mass of Christian Burial WEDNESDAY at 11:30 AM at Saint Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 4741 Bald Eagle Ave., WBL with reception to follow. Private Interment. Memorials are preferred to the church.
