Dale Carlson

Dale Douglass Carlson, 53, of Forest Lake, formerly of White Bear Lake passed away on July 13, 2024. He was preceded in death by his grandma, Sylvia Carlson. He is survived by his wife, April; son, Derek (Thi); daughter, Natalie (Ryan); Grandchildren, Stella and Archer; parents, Lynn and Karen Carlson; brother, Tom (Alex); sister, Nikki (Dave); sister-in-law, Tanya; 6 nephews, Chris Miller was like his second son and was blessed and surrounded with so many amazing family and friends.

Dale Douglass, also known as “Double D” was a Security Network Foreman for Collins Electric for 25 years and started his career over 30 years ago at ADT. He created many long lasting friendships during that time, with a knack for fixing anything. Dale also earned the nickname "Superman" for his ability to tackle any challenge, fix anything brought his way and not only that, he always finished every project he ever started. 

Family was at the center of Dale's world, he was a loving father, doting grandfather and was especially devoted to his best friend and wife of over 33 years, April. Together, they created a lifetime of cherished memories, raising a beautiful family and sharing countless adventures. Dale loved camping, golfing, relaxing by the lake, fishing, traveling, music and dancing.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1660 Birch Lake Ave, White Bear Lake, MN 55110, with visitation from 4PM to 7 PM on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Mueller Memorial- 4738 Bald Eagle Ave, White Bear Lake, and also an hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
