Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at home on October 21, 2012. Corrine was born in Belcourt, ND on July 4, 1942 to Joseph and Rose (Poitra) DeCoteau. She grew up in Belcourt and married Maynard A. Marcellais in 1960. They had five children and then moved to St. Paul in 1966 where she raised her children. They were later divorced. She worked at the Hook-em-Cow in South St. Paul, bartending for several years, then worked various factory jobs including Quality Park and Quebecor. Corrine also worked as a bartender at the Horseshoe Bar for several years. She retired from the East St. Paul Target store in 2010. Corrine loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to go fishing, hunting, gardening, and going on vacations, just to be with family. Corrine is preceded in death by her parents; son, Maynard G. Marcellais; daughter, Fayette Marcellais; brothers, Vincent, Donald, Clifford; and by son-in-law, Greg Bazille. She is survived by daughters, Connie Marcellais, Annette Bazille, Tammy (Bill) Doherty; granddaughters, Angela, Jessica; great-granddaughters, Bayli Kaye, Francesca Rose “Chucki”; brother, John (Irma) DeCoteau; sister, Rose Lamb; and sisters-in-law, Grace DeCoteau, Maureen DeCoteau, Viola Marcellais, Mable DeCoteau, Sally Marcellais; and by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are: Jessica Marcellais, Bill Doherty, Richard Marcellais, Matthew Seltzer, Earl Staats and Taylor Kaiser-Gajeski. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Saturday, October 27, 2012 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 261 E. 8th Street, St. Paul. Visitation 4-8 PM Friday at Mueller Parkway Chapel, 835 Johnson Pkwy, St. Paul and one hour prior to the time of the Mass on Saturday at the church. Rosary Service 7 PM Friday at the funeral home. Interment Union Cemetery, Maplewood. Memorials preferred.
