Clark John Edward Schulte

Clark John Edward Schulte Passed Away on September 9, 2017 Age 24 of Mahtomedi, MN Clark was born in Des Moines, Iowa on October 16, 1992. He was the son of Nancy and John Schulte. When John passed away in 1999, the family moved to Mahtomedi where they attended St. Jude of the Lake School and Parish. Clark graduated in 2011 from Mahtomedi High School and went on to become a Bulldog at the University of Minnesota in Duluth. Following his college graduation, Clark worked as a mechanical engineer at Epic Systems in Madison, Wisconsin. When he was not working, he was an outdoors man who loved to go camping, fishing, hiking, and he enjoyed singing by the campfire. He was an Eagle Scout for Troop 433 of Mahtomedi. More than anything, his family was the center of his life. He especially adored time spent with his nieces, Vivian and Vera. Clark was extremely witty, humorous, thoughtful, intentional, and an astute problem solver. He will be immensely missed by everyone who knew him. Clark was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in July of 2016 and moved back home to Minnesota. After battling cancer for over a year, he passed away on Saturday morning with his family by his side. He is preceded in death by his father, John Edward Schulte; his paternal grandparents, George and Margaret Schulte; his maternal grandparents, Bob and Mary Clark; his “Grandma Dar”; and his cousin, Matt Frischmon. He will be dearly missed by his parents, Nancy (Del) Palacheck of Forest Lake; his siblings, Shane Schulte, Luke Schulte, and Madison Schulte; his step-sisters, Ashley (Luke Ryan) Palacheck, Julie (Paul) Greene, and Stephanie (Austin) Carney; his nieces, Vivian and Vera Greene; his step-grandparents, Bert and Christine Palacheck; aunts and uncles, Steve (Janet) Clark, David (Shirley) Clark, Michael (Lori) Clark, Deb (John) Thompson, Bob (Chris) Clark, Don (Mary) Schulte, Kathy (Pat) Frischmon, Mike (Kathy) Schulte, Patty (Bruce) Lien, Tom (Ann) Schulte, Terri (Mike) Gormley, and Marge (Jim) Reddy; step-family members, Butch (Lyn) Palacheck, Don (Carol) Palacheck, Dave Palacheck, Dolly (Randy) Rand, and Joe (Pat) Palacheck; and many, cousins and other family and friends. Visitation 4:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Mueller Memorial, 4738 Bald Eagle Avenue, White Bear Lake. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at St. Jude of the Lake Catholic Church, 700 Mahtomedi Avenue, Mahtomedi with second visitation one hour prior to Mass at church. Interment at Fairview Cemetery in Stillwater.
