Clark Fryxell

March 4, 1939 — August 23, 2024

Clark was born in Lindstrom, Minnesota on March 4, 1939. He was the son of Evelyn (nee Johnson) and Bernard Fryxell. Following his graduation, Clark enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed in California. While at a donut shop near the base, he ran into Carol Nowak, a Los Angeles native. The two fell in love and were married at First Lutheran Evangelical Church of California on March 11, 1960. After he was honorably discharged from his time in the service, the two of them moved to Minnesota and began raising their family. Clark worked as a plastics injector and later as an independently contracted electrician. They bought a home in St. Paul and raised the three kids there. After retirement, they were able to enjoy time traveling in their RV and eventually living at their place in Las Vegas. In 2018, they moved back to Minnesota to be closer to their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Clark is preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn and Bernard Fryxell; his sister, Darlene Cross; and his brothers, Dayton and Gene Fryxell. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Ann Fryxell (nee Nowak); his children, Connie (Loren) Flattum of Maplewood, Cory Fryxell of White Bear Lake, and Cindy (Jim) Lundgren of Hugo; his five grandchildren, Amanda Nelson, Joanna Nelson, Scott Fryxell, Nicole Fryxell, and Cory Fryxell Jr.; his six great-grandchildren, Kiera, Charlize, Brodin, Ollie, Joshua and Estelle; his siblings, Lois Reed of San Diego, CA, Lowell (Rebecca) Fryxell of Emporium, PA, and Charles (Linda) Fryxell of Prescott Valley, AZ; and many other family and friends. Private family services and interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery
