LIFE STORY
Christine Marie Molin (Hoffman), was born on 5/11/67 in St. Paul, MN to Judith and Dennis Hoffman. She was the oldest of 4 children. Her brothers are Scott (and Bridgette of St. Francis, MN), Troy (and Micheala of Germany) and Wade (and Carolyn of Cedar, MN). Chris grew up in the St. Paul (Groveland) area. She attended Nativity Catholic School during her elementary years and attended Brady High School.
She met Joseph Molin through her cousin Robin. They dated for 6 months, got engaged and got married on 6/6/92 at St Michael's Lutheran Church in Roseville. Joe and Chris built a home in Hugo, MN in 1993 where they welcomed a beautiful, baby girl (Nicole) on 11/17/94. Then on 10/27/96, they welcomed an amazing little boy (Jacob). Chris loved being a wife and mother. She took great pride in keeping a tidy home and being a stay-at-home mom. She deeply loved her children and valued teaching them about God and life. As the kids got older, Chris started working part time as a receptionist at Eagle Brook Church, the church she attended and volunteered at.She worked at Eagle Brook until Nov, 2011 when she was diagnosed with a rare cancer of her appendix.
Chris leaves behind many family and friends that love her dearly. She is proceeded in death by her mother, Judith Hoffman. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Molin (WBL), son, Jacob Molin (WBL), daughter, Nicole Molin (Fridley), father and stepmother, Dennis and Nan Hoffman (Stillwater), brother, Scott Hoffman (wife Bridgette, children Samantha, Anthony and Daniel of St. Francis), brother Wade Hoffman (wife Carolyn, children Charles and Alexander of Cedar), brother Troy Hoffman (wife Michaela, children Benjamin and Nicolas of Germany), stepbrother Matt Haumschild (wife Rita) and stepbrother Nate Haumschild (wife Stephaine).
Chris was an amazing woman. Her smile was filled with unconditional love, happiness, strength and faith. She was caring, compassionate and a wonderful listener. She did not lecture or judge; she always encouraged self-discovery and learning of those she loved. She was a private person, yet was never afraid to tell those that she cared about that she loved and needed them Her hugs were always strong and over-flowing with love. She fought long and hard against cancer. We will miss her dearly, but are thankful that she is no longer suffering.
Until we meet again, we love you always and forever, Christine Marie Molin.
