Charlotte (Char) Eschbach Alberg

CHARLOTTE E. ALBERG (nee Eschbach) Age 88, died peacefully at home on July 25, 2013, after a 7 month struggle with cancer, surrounded by loving family and friends. She was born in Benson, Minnesota and resided in St. Paul. She was beloved by her husband of 63 yrs., Herb; daughters Barbara Piotrowski-Brewer (Mark) and Debra Kohen, (Jeff); grandchildren Laura Pratt, Holly Paseka, Christy Piotrowski, Tom Kohen and Elizabeth Kohen; Brother Lowell (Bud) Eschbach of Seattle. Char was a devoted wife, loving mother, dear and loyal friend to many. She was an elegant, beautiful woman. Char will be remembered for over 50 years of volunteering including Bethesda Hospital, HealthEast Foundation and her church. Memorials preferred to church or donor’s choice. A Celebration of her life will be held Monday, July 29, 4:00 pm, at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 3920 N. Victoria St., Shoreview, MN 55126. Visitation at 2:30 preceding service.
