ANASTASI Charles “Chuck” Age 83 – Formerly of White Bear Lake 3M Retiree (Air Force Symbol) Chuck is preceded in death by parents, Oscar and Evelyn and brother, Ronald. He is survived by Joan, his wife of 61 years; sons, Randal, David (Joyce), Steven (Mary Jo) and Thomas; grandchildren, Katie, Tony, Julia, Nick and Maria; siblings, Pat (Bill) Kilpatrick, Peg (Bob) Hall and Gene (Alice) Anastasi; and many nieces and nephews. Chuck was born in Harlan, Iowa and grew up on his family’s farm. He earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University and a degree in Meteorology from the University of Utah. He served six years in the Air Force as a commissioned officer. He retired from 3M as Director of IS & DP after 32 years of service. Chuck had many hobbies including stained glass, bowling, cycling, golf and traveling the world with Joan. He was a loving husband, a caring father and a loyal friend to many. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30AM on Friday, August 3rd at ST. PIUS X CATHOLIC CHURCH, 3878 Highland Ave., White Bear Lake. The only visitation will be 4-7PM on Thursday, August 2nd at MUELLER MEMORIAL, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake. Memorials preferred to Family Means, a Stillwater non-profit, or to St. Pius X Catholic Church.
