Catharine Haas

Catharine was born on August 10th, 1925 to Oscar and Jessie Covert in Fithian, Illinois. Catharine met the love of her life, Richard Haas, at a roller rink during World War II and they were married on June 30, 1946 and were married for 74 years. They had four children, 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She moved to Minnesota with her husband and four children in April, 1960 and built a life in Minnesota until her death on November 14th, 2020. Catharine loved being active in her Church, Path of Grace United Methodist Church. Catharine had a business selling Stanley Products and her hobbies were taking care of her flower gardens, going for walks and taking care of her family and friends. Over the years she enjoyed travelling to Europe and locally with her husband. She will be missed very much!! Family will be holding private services.
