Wind Carl J. Age 92 of St. Paul, Owner: John Wind Sr. Sheet Metal WWII Army Veteran, Sgt in the 556th Engineer Heavy Pontoon Battalion. Passed away peacefully on January 15, 2016. Beloved father, grandfather & great-grandfather. Preceded in death by Dolores (nee Koziol) his beloved wife of 61 years; parents John & Anna Wind; siblings Helen, Betty, John, Fr. Herman OSB, Albert, Joe & Ben. Survived by children Barbara (Bill) Gahler, Don Wind, Carol (John) Vanderzanden and Frank (Denise) Wind; granchildren Tom (Tara Kelly), Steve & David Gahler, Mark, Tim (Mackenzie), Karen & Teresa Vanderzanden, Jennifer & Danny Wind; great grandchildren Sydney & Jack Gahler; siblings Loretta O'Keefe, Dolores Picha & Bob Wind; sisters-in-law Agnes & Lorraine and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday (January 19) at 10:00 AM at ST. CASIMIR CATHOLIC CHURCH, 934 East Geranium. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Monday (January 18) from 4-8:00 pm at MUELLER MEMORIAL, 835 Johnson Parkway and one hour before the Mass at church on Tuesday. Memorials are preferred.
