Bruce Larson

Bruce Larson, 89, of Shoreview, passed away on December 7, 2024 in his home with family nearby. He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Laura; in-law's, Warren and Thelma Bieber; and grandson, Cody Larson-Brown. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Bette; children, Pam (Mike Sattler) Larson and Thor (Maria Brown), and granddaughter, Bethany (Brennen) Wonka.

Bruce was an architect for many years, working for Ellerbe and building different clinics and hospitals. He used his skill and talent to not only design his own home, but to also create art frames, molding, lamp holders, and even cabinets to decorate his home and cabin. Everywhere you looked you could find another Bruce creation. He could often be found outside cutting wood, hunting, and enjoying the ordinary nature he could find near his home. He put out bird houses and walked the trail nearby so he could see the birds and look at the different flowers and other plants growing. He especially enjoyed his time at the cabin and the quiet peace of being in the woods. He will be greatly missed.
