Bruce Alan Bushey, 66, of White Bear Lake, passed away on November 13, 2023, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born September 10, 1957, in Minneapolis, preceded in death by his mother Gloria (Andersen) and her companion Joe Bernier; father Byron; brothers Michael and Bill.
Survived by his wife of 23 years Janet Richards and his beautiful blended family, adult children Alayne (Ralph) Fiore and Lesley Mairin (Robert Falk), adult stepchildren Amanda (Jacob) Jepson and James (Angela) Richards; grandchildren Marcus, Zoe, Avery, Caleb, Penelope, Tristen, Claire, and Makenzie; former spouse Merry Meltz; siblings Sandy Lund, Ken Lund, John, Larry, Terry, and Scott Bushey; and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Bruce's career always entailed working with customers, whether in the steel business that he was involved in for over 30 years or-along with his wife-owning The Olive Branch Oil & Spice Company for 11.5 years in downtown White Bear Lake. He thoroughly enjoyed helping customers at the store and he was referred to as the "Master of Olives." He loved traveling, astro photography, gardening, and trying to keep up with his large family.
Please join Bruce's family on November 21, 2023, for a Celebration of Life Gathering with appetizers and refreshments served from 5:00-6:00pm and formal remarks starting at 6:00pm. There will be an opportunity to share your funny stories and thoughts about Bruce during our time together. A final toast will end the evening at 7:30pm. Mueller Memorial Funeral Home, White Bear Lake, is hosting the Celebration. Casual attire, dressing up is not required.
