Brian Baker

Brian J.Baker Born February 1, 1958 in Minneapolis, MN and passed away March 18, 2021 in Maplewood, MN at the age of 63 years. He is preceded in death by his parents Sam & Delores Baker. Survived by fiancé Vicki Pittenger; daughters Stephanie Baker (Alexandrea) and Natalie Stublaski (Nathan): granddaughter Nora and his sister Sandra Castrodad (Victor). Brian was that guy that talked to everyone talked to .Brian graduated from Johnson Sr High School in 1976. At the age of 26 he became a Father and while raising his family, he managed a valet service and did some bartending part time. After being single for several years, Brian met the love of his life; Vicki and they were happily together these last 13 years. Their engagement was recent, and a summer wedding was tentatively planned. Brian was known for his humor and kindness. We all remember his puns and his teasing, that were always delivered with love. His passions were photography, Arizona, gardening, and Christmas. His death leaves a gaping hole in our lives that will never be filled. He suffered from a lot of pain, and neurological issues made the last year of his life miserable. We pray that he has found peace and surcease of that pain. Private family service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
