VADNAIS, BEVERLY A. âBevâ
of White Bear Lake
Loving Wife, Mother,
Grandmother, & Great Grandmother
Age 90, passed away peacefully February 23, 2018 with grace, style and humor. Bev was preceded in death by her husband, John R. âJackâ Vadnais, her son, George Vadnais, two grandchildren, her brother, and a daughter-in-law. The second of three children, Bev was born in St. Paul on June 14th, 1927 to Ann C. Anderson and Frank D. Wallerick. Bev attended Sacred Heart and Johnson High School. Bev married Jack, the love of her life, on April 26th, 1946 at St. Mary of the Lake Church. A large portion of her life was devoted to raising her seven children. In her free time she loved to bowl, dance, play cards, and cook. She was accomplished at all she pursued. Her children grew up sharing some of her life-long passions including attending the Minnesota State Fair and the St. Paul Winter Carnival. She was quite proud when on her 85th birthday she became an honorary Vulcan. Bev was always busy with her hands. She crocheted many hats and scarfs, created numerous quilts and, until her hands could no longer do it, she was honored to make rosaries. She also spent several hours each month writing birthday and anniversary cards for ALL of her family and friends. Those who knew her will not forget her talent for telling jokes. It is easy to say that she was selfless and always thinking and doing for others. Her family and friends were most important in her life. Her friends from church, square dancing, J. C. Penneys, Control Data, 500 Club, Tupperware, Red Hat Ladies, and the House of Representatives were all very special to her. Bev was a friend to many and loved by all who met her. Her family will miss her more deeply than anyone can know. Our pain and suffering equals the love and respect we had for her. Her legacy will live on in her sister, Leora June Caspers; in her children: David (Linda), Daniel, Shari (Steve Noon), Cynthia (Steve Costin), Michelle, and Pamella (Pat Pothen); 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. All who knew and loved her are diminished by her passing. Funeral Mass 12pm on Saturday, March 3rd at St. Mary of the Lake Church, 4741 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake. Visitation 1 hour prior to Mass at church.
