Biagi (nee Prazak), Beverly M., 90, of St. Paul, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 5, 2023, surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Al; and parents, Clarence and Mary Prazak. She is survived by her children, Mary Jo (John) Fischbach, Al Jr., Terry (Joe) Buzicky, Louie (Barb), Annie, John, and Maryann; and also, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Bev was born on October 18, 1932 and lived on Butternut Avenue. She attended St. Francis DeSales grade school and graduated from Monroe High School. After high school she worked at the St. Paul Water Department and was crowned Queen of Snows in 1952. The next year she met St. Paul Police Officer, Al Biagi and married him in 1956. Together they raised their children at their home on W. 7th Street where she lived for 66 years. Bev loved the outdoors and in 1979 she bought lake property in the Brainerd Lakes Area. Eventually she had her dream cabin built by her family. She loved having her family up to the cabin on the weekends where she could be with everyone and cook for them. She was able to enjoy her cabin for 43 years. She leaves a legacy of a close family that will always remember her selfless love and her dedication to her faith.
A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 9:30 AM at Church of the Assumption, 51 7th St W, St Paul, MN 55102; guests are welcome to arrive for mass beginning at 9 AM. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
