Benedict "Ben" Louis Cotroneo, beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, passed away on Friday March 31st 2023, at the age of 63 after a battle with cancer. He, above all else loved his family and will be deeply missed.

Ben was born in St. Paul, Minnesota to Benedict Cotroneo and Joan (Kjellberg) Cotroneo on October 13, 1959. He married his loving wife Annette (Mausolf) Cotroneo in 1984 after being set up on a blind date. One of the things Ben was most proud of was their two children Danielle and Dominic.

Ben was a member of IBEW Local 110 and worked for Gephart Electric as an electrician for 37 years and 43 years in the industry. Ben recently retired and was looking forward to spending time enjoying the things he loved. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and camping with family and friends. He, in recent years, discovered a love of travel after an unforgettable trip to Croatia with his wife and cousins (Joe and Stacy Cotroneo and family). Ben was also an outstanding cook who enjoyed coming up with new recipes and outdoing his last meal. He was known by all for his ability to solve any problem...he was a real "Jack of all Trades and the Master of None."

Ben was known for his quick wit and ability to make anyone laugh. He could, and would talk for hours to the ones he loved and the absence of those conversations will be felt by many. If you were loved by Ben he made sure you knew it and he was fiercely protective of those in his circle.

A celebration of his life service will be held at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at Mueller Memorial Funeral Home, 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul, with visitation from 4 PM until the time of the service.
