Mayotte, Barbara Louise (Weidenfeller)
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 3, 2014, at the age of 90. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, wife and aunt – a woman of deep faith who loved her family above all else. Barbara was born in Grand Rapids, MN on August 31, 1923. She was a graduate of the University of Minnesota. She met her dear husband Bob during the years that they both worked at Remington Rand in Milwaukee. Barbara and Bob had a wonderful life filled with humor, friends, travel and most of all, the love of their daughters and later on, grandchildren. Barbara loved to read, follow politics, and to delight in the beauty of the natural world, especially the birds outside her windows. She made many friends while living in Neenah, WI, Roswell, GA and Minneapolis. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; her parents, Mae and Ray Weidenfeller; and brother, Don. She is survived by her daughters, Denise (Warren Hanson), Lisa (John Kulstad) and Janice (Greg Dames): grandchildren, Philip, Robert, Andrew, Colin, Martin, Stuart, Anna, Matthew and Robert; sister, Ruth VanDelinder and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Monday, July 7, at 2 pm at Messiah Episcopal Church, 1631 Ford Parkway, St. Paul, MN. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers to Messiah Episcopal Church, The Sheltering Arms Foundation or the Maud Hart Lovelace Society.
