Audrey Jean Salkowicz (Cowen)

Age 89 of St. Paul

Passed away on September 28, 2024. Audrey was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Her family eventually moved to Minnesota and she graduated from Humboldt High School in St. Paul. Audrey's full-time job was being a mother and homemaker. She made the best shortbread you've ever tasted! She'd always ask if you'd like a cup of tea. Preceded in death by her husband, William; son, Mike; siblings, Clint, Peggy, Roy and Cora; and granddaughter, Rosie. Survived by children, Margaret (Tracy), Steve (Joanna), Mary-Jean (Mark), and Barbara; grandchildren, Cecelia, Christy, Rachel, Michael, Andy, Francis, Tom, Audie, and Frankie; great-grandchildren, Layla, Alexa, Avery, Haley, Carter, Michael, Mason, Rosie, Illy, Eli, Jack and Evie. Special thanks to Karen & family and the caring staff at Regions Hospital. Gathering at 9:30am on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Mueller Memorial, 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul. Time of Sharing to start 10:15am. Ceremony at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
