ARMELLA ANNA ROMANSKY
(nee HENRICH)
Age 88 of Saint Paul, Minnesota
Beloved Wife, Sister and Aunt
Armella was born in Madison, Minnesota on March 24, 1927 to Catherine (nee Plathe) and Peter Henrich. She attended St. Catherine University as a Nursing Cadet and worked for over 30 years as a Head Nurse in the Radiology department at the University of Minnesotaâs Medical Center. She married the love of her life, Harold Romansky, in June of 1972. They were able to take a six week honeymoon to the South Pacific. Throughout their marriage, they loved to travel. Their favorite place to go was to Marina del Ray in California. Outside of nursing, Armella enjoyed knitting, taking care of the birds, working in her flower garden, and playing cards with family. As a young girl, she was a wonderful tap dancer. She could make a party out of any gathering and was very friendly and social. Her caring personality will be missed. Even though she and Harold never had children of their own, she was a very motherly and sweet woman to all in her life.
Armella is preceded in death by her parents, Catherine and Peter; and seven siblings. She will be dearly missed by her husband of nearly 44 years, Harold Romansky of St. Paul; her sister, Theresa Henrich of Madison; her brother, Peter Henrich of Apple Valley; and many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Services will be held at St. Pascal Baylon Catholic Church and the information is pending.
