Ardis David

Ardis M. David (nee Kinde) Age 87, of White Bear Lake. Passed away on December 5, 2013. Preceeded in death by husband Roger David. Survived by children Gerry, Jenny (Tim), Tim (Judy), and Dan (Nancy), as well as twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Ardis was born in Hanska, Minnesota, and graduated from the University of Minnesota with degrees in physical education and English. She taught English in the White Bear Lake Senior High School for almost 30 years and was well-liked and highly regarded by students and staff. Her passions included sailing, canoeing, downhill skiing, and especially the Gunflint Trail where she and her children, relatives, and friends built her retirement cabin on Seagull Lake and she lived for many years. A visitation will be held on Monday, 12/9, 5:00-7:00pm, with a brief prayer service at 7:00pm, at Mueller Mortuary located at 4738 Bald Eagle Ave. A memorial service will also be held next summer in Grand Marais.
