She had 5 brothers – John, Angelo, Nunzio (Ned), Dominic and Joe and 7 sisters – Lizzie, Rose, Mary, Carmel (Minnie), Mayme, Helen and Stella. The family eventually moved to St. Paul where she met Arthur (Bud) Clausen. They were married on December 21, 1935. They had one daughter, Linda, born on December 26, 1948. Anne had various jobs including: sales clerk, cleaning houses, working at a bingo hall and making Nut Goodie bars at Pearson’s Candy factory, which she was never able to eat after she left there. She liked to play bingo and go fishing with Bud. She could sit in a boat all day fishing for crappies and sunfish. She liked to make spaghetti and meatballs. Making homemade noodles was her specialty. Being a typical Italian, she always made enough for the whole neighborhood even though there were only 4 of us eating. She enjoyed music very much. They would gather at her brothers’ and sisters’ houses almost every weekend. They would play guitars, ukuleles, harmonicas, kazoos, and just about anything that made a noise. But Anne always played the piano and mostly just the black keys. She could not read any notes; just played by ear. They would all sit around and sing and dance and Linda and the relatives here today are sure they are having one great big jam session up in heaven. She loved her religion and was very active at Sacred Heart Church. She worked many bake sales, bazaars, helped clean the church and did the ironing of the priests’ robes. She would always work the Easter Monday Luncheons and help run prizes during the bingo games that followed. Linda married Ray Trombley, Jr. and they gave her a granddaughter and grandson. She loved her grandchildren, Stephanie and Jason, and was their daycare provider for them for years. Her house was always full of toys, games, and fun things to do. Stephanie loved dressing up in her clothes and wearing her jewelry for pretend, too. Stephanie married Joe Ryan and they gave her two great-grandsons – Jack, age 14, and Logan, age 9 ½. Jason married Traci Lanier (Luh-neer) and they gave her two more great-grandsons – Cole, age 7 ½, and Max, age 3. She truly adored them all. Her whole family will miss her terribly, but knows she is smiling down on them and looking over each one of them.
