Anna Mae Strom Gahlon

Gahlon, Anna Mae Beloved Mother & Grandmother Age 89 Passed away peacefully on July 22, 2013. Preceded in death by husband, Warren Gahlon. Survived by children, Kathryn Wangensteen and Dan (Mickey); grandchildren, Michael Gahlon, Jamie Gahlon, & Bjorn Wangensteen; sisters, Margie Stake and Ruth Becklin; brother, Bob Stanius; and numerous nieces and nephews. Anna Mae was a city girl who moved to the country at the age of seven. She loved her family, the farm and the Oxlip Country School. She and Warren met at Gustavus Adolphus and were married young. They spent 66 loving years together. Anna Mae worked for the MN House of Representatives for 28 years. She was a beautiful, kind, sweet and spirited woman.
