Ann McGraw
Passed away peacefully at the age of 63 on June 25th, 2023 surrounded by her family after her long eight year battle with breast cancer. She is survived by her mother, Donna "Jean" Stcynske; husband of 39 years, Chuck McGraw; son, Charlie (Adriana) McGraw; daughter, Amy McGraw; and brothers, Steve (Cindy) Stcynske and Larry (Patti) Stcynske. Preceded in death by her father, Donald Stcynske.
Ann graduated from White Bear in 1978 and thereafter was employed at Smarte Carte, Lube-Tech and finished as an administrator for the White Bear Lake Area School District. Ann was a wonderful wife and mother of two children. She was a devoted sports mom that never missed any of her children's games and was proudly involved with helping as a team manager and bookkeeper. She was also eagerly involved in the National Wild Turkey Federation and was the president of the North-Metro Longbeards chapter for the last few years. She was not afraid to get her hands dirty in anything from hunting, fishing or at home projects.
Ann was a very caring and selfless woman who was willing to help anyone in need. She did nothing short of amaze us all with her bravery and strength through her long fight with cancer. Her legacy will live on through her journey of multiple treatments that have only ensued the confidence in the doctors regarding breast cancer research and treatments. Special thanks to her amazing team at St. Paul Minnesota Oncology, Allina Hospice, and Twin Cities Orthopedics that provided exceptional care and dedication to making her comfortable. With them, we were able to spend another eight years with Ann.
