Allen (Al) E. McCauley

ALLEN E. "AL" McCAULEY Al passed away peacefully surrounded in the love of family and friends while at JA Wedum Hospice Center on December 1, 2013. Al retired from AT&T and he belonged to the VFW Post 7555 and Union CWA 7295. He had a wonderful sense of humor. His greatest interests were his family (especially his grandchildren) and his friends. Al was born on March 11, 1936 in Caeldonia to Edward and Rose (nee Miller) McCauley. He married the love of his life, Judy (nee Pentz) on June 13, 1970 at Fridley United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by parents, Edward and Rose. Al will be dearly missed by his wife, Judy McCauley of St. Paul; daughters, Maureen (Tony) Kieger of St. Paul and Kathleen (Adam) Huot of Minneapolis; grandchildren, Anthony, Stella, Elena, Britta and Cecilia; siblings, Jeanette, Tom, Paul and Kathy; and many loved nieces and nephews. First visitation from 4-8PM on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Mueller Lake Mortuary, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake. Memorial Mass 4PM on Friday, December 6, 2013 at St. John's Church of Little Canada, 2621 McMenemy St., Little Canada with second visitation from 3-4PM at church. Interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to his family to be distributed to his favorite charities.
