Condolence: "Charlie" and I have been best friends since 1969 - we met in the 3M Music Makers group. We have shared a real and rich and fun friendship all these years! We were roommates in a 3M Music Maker trip to many 3M locations in California, and sang in a troup of six for the 3M-sponsored sales incentives program - "Have A Good Day". We homegrown singers learned a professional-style musical routine and entertained at the three winning 3M Branches recognition banquets in Cincinnati, Atlanta, and Dallas. We traveled in style in the 3M corporate jets. Totally, a once-in-a-lifetime experience! We have been constant friends - walking together each week around the 3M corporate path - sharing the ups and downs of our life experiences, and enjoying the out-of-doors together - all seasons of the year - as 3M employees and 3M retirees. We had wonderful times together with Clare, Mary, and Charlene, and other friends. We even went horseback riding! Charlie and I shared many special times together - like a great ski trip to Aspen, golfing together, and attending a St. Paul Winter Carnival luncheon, as Charlie's guest, - where Charlie was a star. I was soo proud to be included in this luncheon with Charlie. Such wonderful and colorful memories! Charlie and I continued our weekly walks around the 3M corporate path - until 2015 - when her health began to fail her. We have kept in constant contact ever since. Clare and I were blessed to have a chance to visit Charlie two weekends before she passed away. It was truly a blessing to have a chance to hold her hand and tell her how much we loved her. I cry bitterly here - knowing how much Charlie suffered, and did her very best, to battle the beast - cancer. I know God will be wrapping his arms around Charlie in Heaven, and I hope she will save a seat for me, next to her, in the alto section of some Heavenly choir. God blessed me richly with Charlie's friendship all these years! I just can't imagine life without her nearby.

Condolence: Char was definitely one of those special people who was blessed by God with not only external beauty, but also an inner beauty that shone to all who knew her. I was privileged to know her through being involved with the 3M Music Makers during the late 60's and early 70's. It is so very difficult to grasp that she has left us. Her family was so special to her! My prayers go out for them during this time of loss.

Condolence: My sympathy to Charlotte's family and friends. I played a little golf with Char a few years ago at Tartan Park. She was a lot better than me! Char was very sweet and encouraging. I enjoyed viewing the photos you selected for this memorial site - what a gorgeous woman! I was so sorry to learn Char passed away from my friend Margie.
